Priscila Lacerda Cavalcanti DOMP/CPI
Priscila Lacerda is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with a background in Physiotherapy and over a decade of experience in manual therapy and movement-based care. Her work draws from structural osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, and a psychosomatic perspective, supporting the body as a whole.
She completed a five-year osteopathy program with training in structural, visceral, cranial, and postural approaches, alongside advanced studies in somato-emotional work and trauma-informed care. Priscila is also a Certified Pilates Instructor (CPI), with experience in structural, clinical, and rehabilitation-based Pilates. Her diverse training allows her to offer a broad and integrative clinical perspective, bridging physical treatment with nervous system regulation and body–mind awareness.
Her clinical focus is on restoring the body’s natural capacity for balance and regulation. She works with joint and muscular pain, headaches, postural imbalances, and visceral dysfunctions, while also recognizing how stress and lived experiences may be expressed in the body.
Rather than applying a single method to every patient, Priscila’s approach is individualized and responsive. Each session is guided by the patient’s presentation and needs, and may involve different techniques or approaches depending on what the body requires at that time.
Through precise manual techniques, craniosacral therapy, and a trauma-informed approach that supports body awareness and the connection between body and mind, her treatments aim to release patterns of tension, improve mobility, and support overall well-being.
Priscila is committed to continuous learning and is currently pursuing a PhD in Natural Medicine with a focus on Integrative Medicine. Her approach is deeply shaped by her lifelong connection to movement, having practiced sports such as swimming, volleyball, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and strength training—and, like many Brazilians, playing soccer from a young age.
She is also a mother of two young daughters, and her daily life reflects a balance between movement, care, and presence. Whether through CrossFit, weight training, or simply being active with her children, she maintains a strong connection to the body in motion.
Priscila believes that movement is a powerful form of healing, and this principle is not only part of her clinical work, but something she lives and embodies every day. Grounded in both clinical knowledge and personal experience, her work is guided by a holistic perspective that respects the individuality of each patient. Her approach is also influenced by her personal values and faith, which shape the way she supports others with care, presence, and intention.
